Shark Bait was founded in April 2003 with our first visit to Malta and the beautiful Mediterranean. The founding members of the club were the Grove Year 12 Biology group which consisted of Katy Caldecott, Jay Russell, Sarah Gomersall, Debbie Halfpenny, Rachel Stevenson, Lucy Wooton, Jenni Gibson, Kayleigh Hutchinson and Anne Göldner.

Shark Bait Shark Bait is the homepage of the Grove Fair Weather Diving Club. We are a very selective club in that we only dive when the conditions are just right. It has to be warm and it has to be sunny. For us nothing else will do. Even the slightest sign of a cloud or a slight sea swell and we’ll be in the dive club drinking coffee and relaxing.

Our first visit was made possible by the fantastic assistance of James Dowling the owner and manager of the Neptune Dive Centre in St Julians, Malta. James not only arranged our collection from the airport at 2am in the morning but also transport to the hotel, accommodation at the hotel and just about everything else that went on during the week.
